About Creator Scout

I built this because the way brand-creator deals happen in India right now is broken.

It's a DM, a quote, half on UPI, a vague deadline, and a 50/50 chance one side ghosts. If a creator gets paid late, that's normal. If a brand approves the work and then disappears, that's also normal. The whole industry runs without escrow, without a defined workflow, without a real dispute process — just trust and screenshots.

Creator Scout is the boring version of all that. A brand books a creator at a listed price. Money goes into escrow before work starts. Deliverables go through review and approval inside the platform. Funds release on approval, or auto-release if the brand stops responding past the deadline. Every order generates a proper invoice with TDS at the actual on-platform rate (0.1% with PAN, 5% without). Not the 10% your agency invoices at. Wrong section of the act.

Why we flipped the fee.

We started Creator Scout because brand-side marketplace fees create the wrong incentive. When the platform earns on the brand's spend, every quote gets inflated, every line item gets opaque, and the creator becomes the line item the brand wants to cut. We rebuilt it from the other side. The creator pays our fee out of the price they listed. The brand pays the listed price flat — no markup, no GST line at checkout, no negotiation about who owes platform fees. The creator's price is the deal. We earn when they earn. And when a creator brings their own brand to the platform, they pay almost nothing on those deals — because we'd rather reward the people doing distribution than tax them for it.
